+self-esteem room reception+
The room was steamy with banging beats and self reflection. There was a performance of intimacy, interrogating the intersection of art and vulnerability, as a man sat in his skivvies scarfing down a whole pizza and watching WWE for the duration of the entire opening reception. Was it part of the exhibition or perhaps just a classic New York coincidence? Only interdisciplinary artist and musician Tim Reyes knows, who also performed a medley of music in a glass box for the many passersby of Chinatown who looked upon the all street facade with wonder.

+queer anxieties opening reception+
We all feel anxious sometimes but you know what? That's ok. Even us, a faceless collective/gallery/community/whatever you need us to be, we suffer from a constant state of paralyzing anxiety, but that existential dread bonds us together and we want to share that anxiety with you! So come see the artistic embodiment of queerness AND anxiety at our 3rd St location with the opening of the month long exhibition Queer Anxieties on December 7th at 7pm!
+waif magazine exhibition+
What is “waif?” Is it a feeling? Is it a taste? Is it a sound? Is it a scent? Is it a sight? Honestly, I don’t know, but I’m going to find out and so can you! Come by all street’s Chinatown location on Thursday, December 7th, to experience waif irl and have your life forever changed. The celebration of pure unadulterated waif will be on view through December 10th.
words
+a moment by casper+
take a second to acknowledge the moment you’re in. breath out, now breath in. release a deep sigh. what's before your eyes? look left, then look right, try to remember those sights. absorb your surroundings. press your feet into the earth, feel your grounding. are these words whispering in your mind or pounding? were you mouthing along? smiling or frowning? how do you feel? focus on the weight pushing into your heels. that pressure coursing through your body is real. because your will to move, be, and feel is strong as steel. take a moment because this moment will never happen again and once you finish reading this line, this moment will end.

+self esteem room+
You: a big ball of fur
Me: ready to get knotty :)
Description:
I spent all night staring at you but you didn’t return my gaze once. You were stone, an ice cold gargoyle in the hottest room in Chinatown. Between the stifling steam and the banging beats I was ready to dance, move, and sweat but all I wanted to do was feel you.
+lea bertucci concert+
You: an extroverted introvert
Me: an introverted extrovert
Description:
There were mixed signals bouncing around the room. Maybe we’re just on different frequencies. I don’t get you and you don't get me, but that's what makes it fun right?
+figure drawing 11.28+
You: a familiar face
Me: hoping you’ll remember me this time
Description:
I got a face that nobody knows and you look like you could have been chiseled from stone. I know I should probably leave you alone but you’re someone that I think I need to know…
horoscopes
+Aries+
Home is not where the heart is, but where you can establish a claim of adverse possession.
+Taurus+
Leave your past behind. There’s a reason you don’t have eyes on the back of your head.
+Gemini+
Print out this newsletter upon finishing it. Close your eyes and draw a picture from memory of what you looked like as a baby on the back. Google how to fold a piece of paper into a swan. Then take the paper art and free it in the nearest lake. Does it sink or swim? Come back to the same location every day for the next two weeks to observe the lake. On the last day of these two weeks, enter the lake and you will finally swim.
+Cancer+
If hindsight is 20/20, then what’s behind is whole, as in complete. But according to the reflexive property, foresight must be a fraction and therefore has a decimal, which means it has a point and that point is a purpose, and you must chase it as long as you can.
+Leo+
Pass on love, not trauma. Because like an old baseball, what’s once passed can always be caught again. But love will always fit like a worn-in glove.
+Virgo+
This isn’t déjà vu. This has all literally happened before. So accept your past, your present, and your future because it’s here and it’s gone and it’s forever.
+Libra+
Why wish for a time machine when you have memories? Close your eyes and travel without limit or fear of ever altering the present.
+Scorpio+
Is a false memory lying to yourself, or just a sign that you haven't lived a very interesting life?
+Sagittarius+
If you walk far enough backwards you’ll eventually move forward from your initial starting point, because the earth is not flat and neither is your future.
+Capricorn+
Keep going until you find the greenest grass, or you fall off the side of the world; your neighbor's lawn will always be better than yours, as long as it isn’t yours. So stop looking out and start looking in. Maybe your internal garden needs some water.
+Aquarius+
Chasing dreams can be dangerous when you sleepwalk without a tether, but know that no matter how far you go, the present will always be there with you every step of the way.
+Pisces+
You’ll never be who you once were.
