If you’re reading this you’re too waif. Even if we tried to explain, the English language hasn’t quite caught up to adequately describe the magical events of the weekend-long retrospective. What we can say is there was love, meatballs, minigolf, and dodgeball. If that leaves you with more questions than answers then you may be starting to get the point.

Some art hangs, some art leans, and some art haunts. The pieces in Nicholas Cordeiro’s solo exhibition, Ephemera, may no longer be up at All Street’s Chinatown location, but the mangled figures and striking colors of his large scale paintings will haunt the gallery’s walls for years to come.

You can eat it cold, hot, fried, sizzled, boiled, roasted, toasted, and just about any other way your fleshy little brain can cook up, but the real question is: have you ever considered spam as art? Well if you’d like to expand your mind, come on down to our Chinatown locale to see Spamtember, a group exhibition all about spam, at 119 Hester Street with the opening reception on December 20th at 7pm!
+chaos theory: the spectrum of black abstraction+
Like the holidays, life can be chaotic but it's really just a matter of perspective and within that perspective is the margin where art is made. So All Street will be attempting to harness such chaos and curate a group exhibition for black history month. We’re currently conducting an open call. Learn more and apply here.

You: betrothed to another
Me: a forgotten suitor
Description:
I watched upon the evening’s nuptials in sheer terror. I would have moved heaven and earth just to stand beside you yet I was paralyzed by fear at the thought of having to showcase my abysmal mini golf skills in front of you. So I didn’t enter the raffle for your hand and now I'll be wallowing in regret and despair for eternity.

You: an amusing muse
Me: typically unamused
Description:
People don’t typically interest me, but you seem like you might be kinda cool. If I paint you, you'll be immortalized forever on the canvas of a genius. Would you like that?

You: too hot
Me: burning up
Description:
The warmth of your words kept spirits high and the room crackling with dynamic energy. I can only imagine the warmth of your breath and what other powers you possess.
horoscopes
+Aries+
If you really believe, squint a little bit, and wish hard enough, you’ll start to see whatever it is you want to see.
+Taurus+
Save the cheer, save the world. One good cheer can sustain us all for an entire year.

Open up a new note on your phone. Write down a wishlist of three things. Take a screenshot and send it to a trusted friend, colleague, acquaintance, or sworn enemy. Then immediately delete the list and the message. Tell the receiver not to show the list to anyone, not even you, until at least a month later. Set a reminder on your phone. Once a month has passed, try rewriting the same wishlist and send it again. Have the receiver tell you if you correctly recreated the list or not. Whether or not you remember is irrelevant but if a cure for cancer, the end of world hunger, and a ceasefire wasn’t on the list, then do you really deserve to have any wishes at all?
+Cancer+
Sure, go ahead and splurge, but when it’s all said and done, a gift given will likely end up in a landfill just like a gift received. So maybe Scrooge, the Grinch, and the many other holiday anti-heroes were actually radical environmentalists. So whose side are you on? The capitalist ice-pig Santa or mother earth?
+Leo+
Winter is the best time for arson. If they catch you, just say your electricity bill was too high this month. Not everyone celebrates the holiday you celebrate, but everyone hates Con Edison. And while love may keep you warm this winter, hatred will keep your soul ablaze forever.
+Virgo+
If you’re offended by the term “happy holidays,” then maybe you weren't that happy to begin with. You also may want to get your eyes checked because to fixate on a single word during an entire season of magic means you’re not seeing the big picture.
+Libra+
Why would anyone want a little piece of paper with the face of you and your sloppy little gremlins? Because it's a holiday tradition and paper waste and overpopulation are both here to stay.
+Scorpio+
If you think ginger bread is dry, bland, and overrated, it might just be a reflection of how you see yourself and your thorough lack of imagination. Since variety is the spice of life, you may want to try getting zesty and roll the dice tonight by taking a big ole bite of life.
+Sagittarius+
Don’t look a gift horse in its eye cause you may spook it and send it bounding into the cold dark night, ruining any hope for little Timmy down the road to get a Hess truck this year. And that’s exactly why Secretariat lost the job to Rudolph because reindeer love eye contact. Stay woke and open your third eye this holiday season.
+Capricorn+
It’s not a race. Sip slowly and avoid burns, cherishing the taste on your tongue. Sometimes delaying satisfaction is the only way to truly be satisfied.
+Aquarius+
You’re already getting presents, seeing your family, and getting a nice meal, why wish for snow? Instead of dreaming of a white Christmas, why not dream of a nice Christmas?
+Pisces+
Your soul is as dark as coal.
